What We Do Title

Our goal is to help those in need and to better ourselves and our community. Working together to achieve this creates lasting friendships and cherished memories.

Philanthropies Title

  • Scholarships
    Awarded annually to deserving, local, graduating seniors representing the fields of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math
  • Youth Leadership
    Sponsorship of a promising, local high school sophomore to attend the Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Program (HOBY)
  • HARTT Center support
    Assist 18-22 year-old special needs students from the HARTT Center (housed at Hochwalt Academy) transition into adulthood. We donated exercise equipment and, in conjunction with a local auto dealer, a van for student transportation
  • WINGS (Women in Need Growing Strong YMCA program)
    Provide essential clothing, toiletries and household items for domestic violence victims who have had to leave everything behind in order to escape their abusive relationships
  • Human Trafficking awareness and prevention
  • Veterans/Active Duty Service Personnel
    Provide personal items and emotional support to veterans, active military, Military Women in Need and Ontario USO.
  • C.I.P (Community Involvement Program)
    Projects that help improve the quality of life in the community such as purchasing the Jaws of Life for Fire Station #61 and support for needy families and convalescent homes
  • Fight Cancer
    City of Hope Walk and Relay for Life participation
  • Trunk or Treat
    Participate in the safe communal Halloween experience for the city's youth
  • Volunteer hours at local elementary schools

  • Scholarship Tree of Lights
    Decorate the large pine tree in front of Fire Station #61 with commemorative ornaments and lights paid for by donations
  • Dollar Challenge
    Individual Club members host fun activities for friends, families and fellow club members. Examples are craft and game parties.

  • Dining for Dollars
